In addition, with the help of “All for One,” Microsoft Teams was established as the central collaboration hub at VOLLMER. The launch of a comprehensive customer portal based on the SAP Commerce Cloud rounds out these developments and lays a solid foundation for future growth. In the VPortal , customers can , among other things, manage their equipment using the CXplore Equipment Viewer, easily identify replacement parts, and order them online immediately.

The Project

The VOLLMER WERKE customer portal is called VPortal and serves as a central digital hub for customers. Here, they can view a machine overview that allows them to manage their equipment and access important documents such as operating manuals. An innovative interactive 3D representation of the machines also enables customers to precisely identify and locate components. This makes it easier to find replacement and wear parts and order them directly through the portal. These features are made possible by the Equipment Viewer and the Media Management module of All for One.
