Initial Situation

The existing online store served us well for many years—and has truly earned its retirement. Due to technical limitations, page load times and the user experience, in particular, were no longer up to date. RATIONAL took this development as an opportunity to launch a new customer portal with that certain something.

The goal was to develop a flexible and scalable customer portal that would allow customers to configure products quickly and easily. Various departments and international subsidiaries were involved early on to ensure that the online store would meet the needs of all markets and provide an intuitive user experience for customers.
